Dibentuk pada tahun 2008 oleh Craig Mabbitt, band ini ditandatangani kontrak pada label Fearless Records. TWA saat ini terdiri dari vokalis Tyler Smith, gitaris Zack Hansen dan Tony Pizzuti, dan drummer Matt Horn. Kelompok ini memiliki beberapa perubahan line up selama karir mereka, dengan Hansen dan Pizzuti sebagai satu-satunya anggota pendiri yang masih tersisa.
